COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP

The LEPC meets regularly, every other month, to discuss safety topics most relevant to those in the county. Membership in the LEPC provides countless opportunities for networking with other facilities representatives, emergency responders, elected officials, and more!

SUB COMMITTEES

All LEPC members are strongly encouraged to join one of the following subcommittees that suits your interest: ​​

  • Workshop/Agenda: meets as necessary to keep the LEPC on track

  • Bylaws: Solicits comments, drafts revisions and coordinates approval of annual updates

  • Outreach: Promote the committee to the community

  • Planning: responsible for reviewing all the Off-Site Emergency Response Plans

  • Sites of Distinction: Track and recognize facilities active in the committee

  • Summit Planning: Coordinates all aspects of the annual SARA Summit.
